Church has been canceled now two weeks in a row. A week ago it was ice, yesterday it was snow. We got dumped on Saturday night.
Jewel came home from work in the morning and couldn’t quite make it into the garage. I offered to take over but she wouldn’t let me.
Here’s what the front yard looked like from the shelter of the garage.

Wish I could trade with you! Here in CA we’re lucky to have an inch of snow–actually, we’re fortunate to have any at all for Christmas! My students were making a snowman today–it was covered in leaves, but it was over 5 feet tall.

Oh, my word, I sure wouldn’t trade places. I like to be able to go to where I need to go, safely.
Saturday in Utopia yielded a brilliant, full, double rainbow — above fields of green grass, of course!

Wintertime fun! Yup, we can relate! I hope you are keeping that sweet baby of yours all snuggly warm in the house with you!

Looks absolutely aweful. Hang in there bud. I feel for you. No human should have to put up with that. I count my blessings one raindrop at a time.

Wow, that red race car looks like it would be right at home on the Brickyard this time of year! Looks about the same as when I was there in Feb.
