Actually, maybe just here. Notice the new “.com” in the ITF title. Not sure if I like that or not.
But, what it signifies is true. I have secured the domain www.icedteaforever.com. Kon should be happy now, it really bothered him before that he couldn’t type in icedteaforever and go to his favorite site.
Right now it’s set up to just redirect to ripchordpro.com/blog/. But it’s a lot easier to tell someone “iced tea forever dot com” rather than “ripsnort professional slashback blogger.”
I’m not sure how it’ll all come out in the wash. I don’t know if I want to migrate everything over to the new domain or what. Haven’t decided what all I want to do yet. I wish I would have done some things differently to start with, but that’s how you figure things out I guess. I didn’t know really what role the blog would end up playing, so far it’s exceeded my expectations.

Man I missed an opportunity to make a quick buck. I should have thought to buy that domain name before you did. I could have marked it up a bit and made a little loot off the deal. Oh well…bummer. A day late a dollar short. I am sure you probably tried to get “ITF.com” but to no avail. So you were also a day late dollar short. How about “IcedTforever.com” or maybe “ITforever.com”. Just thinking…

I’ve done very little blogging; I have fun trying new things but soon leave things behind.
So I’ve experimented with blogger.com, b2evloution, and WordPress.
Definitely like WordPress better. Nice admin interface, less confusing than b2evo (however, b2evo is more comprehensive) and far better than blogger (which is worlds better than xanga).
But you probably knew all that…… however, just giving a vote for WordPress.
You really need to “just do it”, but I don’t know how the migration would go.

I realize you’re a busy man… but 7-8 months is a little long for an email reply!!!
It was about sound/recording equipment, wasn’t it? Forget it, I have enough other things to do, I don’t need to go scampering down that trail yet!
While we’re on the subject….. Since you do have some good recording equipment, have you given much thought to doing a podcast? I don’t know what about; but you’re good at coming up with content. Just curious….. ’cause you have all the equipment and skill to do it right. Just come up with some original content.
