So after such a long week with no sleep I needed a relaxing weekend. This morning in church my wife whispered to me “Let’s have the youth over tonight!”
I groaned, “Oh I’m too tired, there’s too many of them, our house is too small, we had such a busy week, we don’t have any food, etc, etc.”
She patiently waited until after church, then told some of the girls she wanted them to come over but couldn’t convince me. Guess who then came running over to talk to me!
And any ideas on who’s coming over tonight?! I guess I got what I deserved.

While youth were piling into your house, I was either just waking up from my insanely long nap or lounging around my house. Sorry for not coming but sometimes you just feel like sleeping. Or lounging.

PAH! I think that’s funny.
Tom, weigh it in the balance, ponder briefly, and just be glad you are not married to a boring woman.

hehe, i still remember fondly the days when half of our “YOU” youth group would pile into my dads blazer and we would go to a park adn act like silly girls all afternoon. of course we were silly girls adn i was lucky my dad was patient. really, i think he just sat in the truck and napped!

Tom speaks so highly of Iced tea and singing but I have yet to see a post mentioning the “Magic Singing Tea” I used make when Tom sang with the Razorburn quartet…
