I was having a discussion with a lady and she offered the following slightly unsettling quote:
“In heaven all men will be tenors!”
I replied, “That doesn’t sound like heaven to me!”

I’m a soprano and I sing opera. I was wondering how I could go about learning acapella style singing? Where could I find a teacher? I live in a little out-of-the-way place and there is no such thing around here. I was wondering if you knew anyone that teaches long-distance? I play a lot of instruments and I teach, too. My fiddle teacher lives in FL. I’m in AZ. I have a recording program and that is how we manage.

Hey now! Our favorite phrase when we referred to the Adamic portion of the SMBI choir was “men and tenors”.
