Awhile ago I posted about my buddy Daryl Petersheim’s song The Empty Tomb Says it All.
Now it’s the Kingdom Heirs latest single, available for free download at Crossroads Music.

This is yet another great song by a very under-rated group. The blend these guys get is some of the best in gospel music today. The songs they sing are true gospel and powerful. One of my favorites!

In 1998 I had the opportunity to visit the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, which is thought to be the one owned by Joseph of Arimathea. It was re-discovered by British General Gordon in 1883, before his murder in Khartoum. In 1892, British Christians raised 2,000 British pounds, and the site was bought from the owners, and since, has been maintained by this British Association. One of its members, Reg Bradby, pointed out an anchor, with its flukes pointed heavenward (Hebrews 5:17-19)which was cut into the large stone, and said to be dated as early first century AD. Our hope is anchored in heaven, and many of these first century believers undoubtedly were among the five hundred eyewitnesses to the (see 1 Corinthians 15 or google) Post-Resurrection Appearances of Jesus, and probably was a meeting place of the early first century church in Jerusalem. The power of Christianity over all other religions rests on the truth of the Resurrection, and indeed, “The Empty Tomb Says It All.”

I love this song and hope to teach it to my church in time to sing it at Easter as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
