Merrick Pet Foods has a flash intro on their home page that illustrates a good point — dogs don’t make good farmers.
It shows a dog driving a John Deere 9600 combine through what looks like a 6-foot high lettuce patch. Incongruous as that is, the dog has the unloading auger on and is dumping the seed out behind him as he goes.
I suppose I’ve spilled my share of seed, but there’s no excuse for putting a dog in a combine. And since when do dogs eat lettuce seeds?!

Is the dog a greyhound?

Did you see the list of ingredients on the dog food? “Duck, pheasant, quail, sweet potatoes, green beans, Minnesota wild rice”
As fast as that combine is going, it’s probably chewing up the pheasants and quail hiding in the lettuce, before they can get away.

There’s no excuse for putting a dog in the cab of any road vehicle, either, unless he’s in a carrier and there’s no pickup available. To me that’s about as bad as smoking in a car.

Cuz if he’s a greyhound, he obviously raises his own bunnies to chase.
