Oh, GOOD ! I've wondered if I was the only sucker that still got those address stickers. And you notice they each send a good 50 or more ... like a lifetime supply from each mailer.
Yet, I bet I have some 50 thousand out in the office stuffed in a folder I'll never use. In fact, Dorcas, I think I even have some of those cutesy flowered ones like Paul gets.
But it's the thought that counts I suppose. And the ones I get from the Indian School & Children's Hospitals always result in a little contribution from this old turkey.

I manage to feel guilty for many many things, but thankfully not for this. How completely silly of them to send me labels I never asked for and expect me to send them money, especially when the labels say "Mr. Paul Smucker" and are adorned with cutesy-poo pink mailboxes and flowers.

My grandfather used those address labels to tape up Bible verses on the wall in his shop (and throughout the house, actually) so that he could memorize Scripture while he worked. :-)

Even better. What do you do with those postage-paid envelopes included in a lot of junk mail? Load them with rocks and pop them in the mail? Or like my dad used to do. Send them an envelope full of gospel tracts.

I see it as a gift...their way of appreciating my existence...(perhaps I should write them a thank-you).
