We’re finally in our new house. We’re in, but there is still tons of clutter all over the place!
I’ve been rather swamped the last few weeks, as you can imagine. But I do have lots of new material for the ecruing masses!
This house is much bigger than where we were, but for some reason there’s nowhere to put stuff. I’m not sure what’s going on with that. I had no idea we had crammed so much paraphernalia in the tiny place we were in.
I was astounded at how soon the spam phone calls started coming. Literally a few days after being activated we were fielding 1-3 unsolicited phone calls a day. I was incensed!
As soon as my DSL was hooked up and operating I cranked up that wonderful website donotcall.gov and registered the new number. I don’t know how long it takes to kick in, but at any rate by now they’ve pretty much quit. Except for a no-answer call every day or so.
Same story at the mailbox, it doesn’t take long at all for the trash to start flowing. Now if there was just a do not call website for junk mail!

Glad you two are in larger digs. Life progresses.
The do-not-call thing has reaped many benefits for us in the last 2 weeks, should have done it long ago. Caller Id did help, but this is even better.
Hope you get all that “stuff” into a cubby hole somewhere in that new mansion of yours.
Looking forward to many new posts on the joys of a new home. You need some of them nice emoticons for your sight.

Congrats on the new digs there, Tea.
I remember how I used to dread the settling in part of moving almost as much as the moving itself. Last two moves I made however, I took only the essentials…clothes and a toothbrush for example. Furniture, appliances, etc. (just about everything else) went to the buyers. “Store not your treasures on earth”, I always say.
And truly we/us ecruing .. er .. (light brown-colored) masses will be anxious to see & hear about all the new material. Wonder how long it might take to set up the new office ?
Surely won’t happen until Baby’s domain is established.
But sincerely .. congratulations on the newest family upgrade. And may your lives be full of more and more upgrades as God smiles on you & your’s.
