So good to finally meet Jewel! I have heard so many great things about her and can't wait to swap "Tom" stories.... Was so good to see you both. Looking forward to your visit again in December. Wish we had more snow here... you know, no school=no work for me!! :-)
Take care both of you! (By the way, who can't pronounce Indianapolis?????)ha!

When we got home to Hermiston, there was very sparse snow on the ground. Tavin was extrememly disappointed that we'd missed "first snow". It stuck around for several days, and it is still staying in the tens-twenty's but no more snow. :) Fortunately, we have very little moisture, so we don't have to deal with much ice. Until we see the gorge for Chirstmas....See you then!

Ahh, you have met a great mid-west tradition- The Ice Storm!! Lovely, aren't they?? We have a tendancy to get those where I live while everyplace north is getting snow, and go much south and it turns into rain. Come to think of it, that's probobly why we get so much ice!!! ~Lauren

Tom, Glad you made it "home" safely. It was clear as a bell and slightly chilly here today, but it is supposed to stay that way for a while. Good to see you when you were here. We will have more things for you to see when you get back out here to "Utopia". Look forward to seeing you again. dt
