One of my older sisters has been going through her old photographs and slides and scanning them into her computer (she would have been a teenager when I was just a few years old). She’s emailed me several old ones of me as a small child. There was this one in particular that she tried to convince me to post, but I don’t see that happening anytime this millennium. She should be ashamed of it! I certainly am!
But here is a nice one she sent me, I’ll post it instead.
This would be Jean and I at Crater Lake I believe. Notice how I exude confidence and charisma. I think it’s the shades.

Tom, I still insist there is nothing shameful about a tastefully blurred photo of a two year old going potty in his own back yard! But of course, it doesn’t exactly exude confidence and charisma either!

I’m wondering whatever happened to the cute kid in the picture. I mean, Tom, what happened to you! I think Jewel has her hands full if she is to get you back to you boyish innocence and good appearance.

Vernon, if you think that I have my hands full just because of his “lack” of boyish innocence and good appearance, well…why don’t you come to Indiana for a week! Life is sure never dull around Tom cause I never know what to expect, but I love him just the same. (Course I’ll bet that he’d say the same about me!) Jewel
PS Tom has lost his cutness to become handsome; I don’t think that he can be both at the same time.

So there Vern, guess she told you! Besides, I now exude confidence and charisma without needing shades!
And LeAnn, that “blurr” would need to become a thorougly blotted, splattered, besmirched, blackened smudge to ever be tasteful!

Ahh, beauty. ‘Tis always in the eye of the beholder.
